Des Moines, Iowa

As has been a tradition for many years, Iowa Meat Processors will be holding the Ham, Bacon, and Cured & Smoked Beef Competition in the Agricultural Building on August 12, 2021.  So, sharpen you meat cutting skills, fire up you smokers, and set aside some time for attending this year’s event.  You will find that it is time and money well spent for the exposure and advertising you will reap.  If you do not believe this, talk to some of the processors who do participate.

Here are the specifics:

Iowa Meat Processors Association will be holding their annual Cured Meats Competition on August 12, 2021  in the Agriculture Building during the Iowa State Fair.  The classes include bone-in ham, bacon, and cured and smoked beef.  Each entrant may enter two hams, two bacons, and one cure and smoked beef.
