IOWA'S CURED MEAT CHAMPIONS
2026 Cured Meat Champions
Iowa processors put a great deal of pride and skill into the products they offer, and once a year they are invited to submit those products for evaluation by judges who are meat scientists and specialists in the meat industry. The competition includes 16 different product categories such as ham, bacon, and snack sticks which are reviewed for aroma, flavor, eye appeal, color, and texture. Competitors receive valuable feedback that helps them develop and produce high-quality, tasty, hand-crafted products.
